The Designs

eBook cover of EATEN

EATEN eBook Cover

Of course I had to add my first published book to the shop! A little info about the cover: One day I went for a walk and saw this cluster of oleanders. I was like, "Wow, those are so pretty!" and snapped a photo, not realizing they would become the cover of my first novel! I designed this cover and that of the paperback version. Since then I have learned how to use photo manipulation programs a bit better which allows me to turn my hand-drawn art into digital designs. Another fact: I have these oleanders tattooed on my thigh, so during bikini season I have some advertisement space out there.

Oleanders are a very toxic plant and very common in Woodland, CA (the town I grew up in). Amelia's hometown is based off of Woodland, so it only made sense to include oleanders in the story.

VOID eBook Cover

It was obvious that I had to add VOID to the store as well. This cover was also designed by me. The bunny is actually a stuffed animal that I've had since I was a baby. I use it in the story and figured it was perfect for the cover.  Posing this limp guy was a struggle but after taping the back of his head to the wall with some painter's tape, I had the perfect photo.

Alyanna Poe's Creepy Boi

This guy was sort of an accident. I was trying to copy a hand drawn design I had by drawing it on a digital program (before I knew how to use my photo manipulation program)  and it did NOT work out. This guy came to be, and with such a large forehead I decided he needed a tattoo of my name. He's just a creepy guy obsessed with me XD I think he turned into a pretty good logo for me and even have him plastered on the back window of my truck.

Main character of EATEN, Amelia, in one of the most important scenes of the book.

EATEN's Amelia

Presenting... Amelia in one of the most important scenes of EATEN. Being a monster is hard, and I'd never want to be in Amelia's place.

Creepy guy design

S m i l e

One of the first creepy dudes I drew. Inspired by one of my my favorite 90s cartoons (I'm sure you can guess). He's a bit grungy, but he just wants to make people happy :)

Three pink oleanders

EATEN's Oleanders

A classier version of my cover, so you can show your support without wearing the title :) I really like how this one came out, especially on the clothing items. Just a delicate design with such a dark meaning.
